General questions

Yes, the conference workshops will be identical across all locations, including the virtual counselor conference. We encourage you to attend the conference that works best for you, your schedule and format preference.

All registered counselors will receive an email later this summer when the conference schedule is available. The conference website will also be updated once the full schedule is available.

As noted above, all conference sessions will be the same between the in-person and virtual conferences. Given space limitations, counselors should only register for one conference option. Please note that a registration fee applies for each event. Registration fees are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred to another date/location.

All registered attendees will have access to the presentation PDFs and recordings from the virtual conference, even if you registered for an in-person option.

Registration/payment questions

Yes, advance registration is required. No day-of registrations will be accommodated. 

Registration will close once capacity has been reached or one week prior to each event (whichever occurs first). No late registrations will be accepted.

All of the required registration information can be found in this fillable PDF. You are encouraged to send this form to anyone for whom you are registering to collect the needed information.  This form is just for your internal use. You will still need to complete registration online. 

Note: If you are registering more than one counselor as part of a group, you will only need to input all of this information for the first counselor you register. Each additional counselor will only require a unique email address and first and last name. See the FAQ below for more information about group registration.

The cost to attend an in-person conference is $100 per person. The cost to attend the virtual conference is $50 per person. 

Upon registration, you will receive instructions to submit your payment online. Full payment is due within three (3) business days to confirm your registration. 

We are only able to accept payment by credit card. We cannot accept checks or purchase orders.

If you are no longer able to attend, we encourage you to cancel your registration so that space can be made available for other interested attendees. If you need to cancel your registration, please email us at cnslrcon@ucop.edu with your registration reference number.

Yes. If you need to transfer your registration to someone else, reach out to us at cnslrcon@ucop.edu and we'd be happy to update the name and email address included in the registration. 

No, we are not able to transfer your registration between events. You would need to submit a new registration for the conference and pay the associated registration fee.

Yes, you can add additional people to your registration. You will need to provide the names and email addresses of each additional person. Once completed, each person will receive a confirmation email with a link to update their registration with their personal details. The registration fee applies for each person within a group.

Note: You will need to provide a unique email address for each individual counselor you register. You cannot use the same email address for multiple registrations.
