We will continue to update this page with additional FAQs as we get closer to the conference.
General questions
UCBAC provides professional learning events with particular attention to issues affecting UC’s Black/African American community. Events are open to all UC faculty, staff and administrators.
The UCBAC Steering Committee wanted to provide an opportunity for the community to come together in person, but in a smaller, regional setting to allow more flexibility for local travel. UC Davis will host a Northern California gathering on April 14 and UCLA will host a Southern California gathering on April 23. UCBAC Pop-Ups are open to the entire UCBAC faculty/staff community.
- With hybrid and remote positions across the system, colleagues from other UC campuses may be in your backyard. As a result, we have created a Community Event Calendar. If your campus or organization is hosting an event you’d like to share with the broader UC community, you can post it on the community calendar. Whether it’s a Black History Month event, an arts performance or a distinguished guest speaker engagement, consider sharing with the broader UC community as appropriate.
