We acknowledge that virtual engagement is not the same as meeting in person. Please consider connecting with the community in other ways throughout the remainder of the fiscal year. Here are a few additional opportunities to engage:

UCBAC LinkedIn

If you haven’t done so already, join the UCBAC LinkedIn Group. Community members can post UC job openings, career development information and other professional celebratory moments.

Consider posting:

  • Black History at UC: Let’s elevate our excellence and honor our UC colleagues and alumni.
  • Your favorite UCBAC moments/photos: Although we’re not in person this year, we can share memorable and meaningful moments from previous conferences.
  • What are you reading? Whether it’s a book, research paper or other publication that informs our work in higher education, share what inspires you to be at your best professionally and personally

UCBAC Event Calendar and Dashboard

With hybrid and remote positions across the system, colleagues from other UC campuses may be in your backyard. As a result, we have created a Community Event Calendar. If your campus or organization is hosting an event you’d like to share with the broader UC community, you can post it on the community calendar.

Whether it’s in-person or virtual distinguished guest speaker event or an arts performance or a sporting event, consider sharing with the broader UC community as appropriate.
